Gangs Of Kin has dropped the video for his fantastic new single, ‘Cool, Calm and Collected’. Musically, it’s underpinned by groovy layers of funk, courtesy of a thick bass line, choppy guitars and sharp drum patterns. The video, created by Joël Gaerthé, uses a unique stop-motion approach to reflect the meaning of the track: “Within all the chaos, aimlessness and anxiety this is a song to cancel out the noise of outer pressure. The time of splendor comes after the drought. This is a chant to stay cool, calm and collected.” His debut EP, Natures Knows No King, is being released on August 11th, 2023. -Dan Peeke
